What you'll be doing

The Future Video & Social team is responsible for developing, producing and distributing video for Future’s market-leading brands across social platforms. Our remit is broad, working across women’s lifestyle, homes, tech, gaming, sport, entertainment and more.

The role reports to the Head of Video Development, and also supports the Executive Producer to work with Future brands in the development and creation of new social formats, with an emphasis on horizontal & vertical video. 

As the Social Creative, you will lead creative development of new editorial video formats for our brands. Providing creative &  strategic expertise, you will dive into briefs from our brands to lead creative discussions, foster innovation and inspire them with trends, insights and your innate passion for social video content. This role would suit someone with a few years experience from either an inhouse agency (at a brand or a publisher) or agency background. The Social Creative will also work with the video team and the wider business to monitor technological trends and developments and to pilot new tools as appropriate.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Expertise in optimizing content for various social video platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, TikTok), with a strong emphasis on vertical-first platforms and content.
  • Experience of developing video, designing and setting visual identity for content.
  • Experience with pitching creative concepts and collaborating with clients or brands in agency and in house settings.
  • In-depth knowledge of platform talent and creators, with the ability to identify and leverage the right influencers for projects
  • Strong experience working with diverse stakeholders, including those from video and non-video backgrounds.
  • Adept at managing across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using Photoshop and Canva, with the ability to create high-quality, visually appealing decks in Google Slides.
