The Snr. Program Manager is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the software development workload from the planning stages to delivery. This role will collaborate with the engineering, product management, and senior management teams to manage completion of complex software development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Evangelise KnowBe4’s Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies to the PM and Engineering Teams
  • Hold the role of Scrum Master for one or more Scrum Teams
  • Manage the planning and estimation of Engineering projects
  • Maintain team data in project management software (JIRA) to support estimates and execution 
  • Facilitate intra-team dynamics by assisting PM, Development and QA in managing priorities and scope
  • Analyze requirements for a specific project, lead teams in estimation practices and adherence to project timelines
  • Act as Scrum Master for software development teams
  • Assist the team to manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic requirements to keep teams and projects running at a high performance
  • Proactively identify and eliminate impediments to facilitate ease of project flow
  •  Drive team execution
  • Communicate status to management and stakeholders
  • Maintain team data in project management software (JIRA) to support estimates and execution
  • Facilitate intra-team dynamics by assisting product owners in managing priorities and scope

Requirements:

  • BS or equivalent plus 8 years experience
  • MS or equivalent plus 3 years experience
  • Ph.D. or equivalent plus 2 years experience
  • Demonstrable expertise of Agile methodology
  • Understanding of agile metrics (Velocity, Burndown, Churn, Sprint Goal Achievement Rate, Cycle Time, Throughput)
  • Passionate commitment to delivering projects/programs on time
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and very organized
