Bolt is on a mission to democratize commerce. We relentlessly prioritize our retailers—putting their brands front and center while enabling frictionless shopping at any touchpoint in the customer journey. At the center of it all is our rapidly growing universal shopper network—Bolt merchants such as Revolve, Lily Pulitzer, Kendra Scott, Lucky Brand Jeans, and Jonny Was can access tens of millions of shoppers, offering them a best-in-class checkout.

And revolutionizing ecommerce is only half of the equation—we’re also transforming the way we work. At Bolt, we have created a work environment where people learn to drive impact, take risks and make big bets, and grow from feedback, all while feeling welcomed and accepted for who they are. Come join us on the adventure today!

Your role at Bolt:

As a Small Business (SMB) SDR at Bolt, you’ll be the first point of contact in our sales motion—introducing ecommerce and fintech merchants to the value of Bolt’s checkout and ecommerce platforms. You’ll work closely with our Account Executives to generate qualified pipeline, run personalized outreach campaigns, and uncover opportunities that drive growth. This is a high-energy, high-visibility role for someone who thrives on connecting with people, is eager to learn, and understands the fast-moving world of SaaS and ecommerce.

Please note, we are only accepting candidates who reside in the United States and Canada at this time.

What you will be doing:

  • Identify and prospect small to mid-sized ecommerce and fintech merchants through outbound email, social selling, and cold calling.
  • Qualify leads through discovery conversations and needs analysis to assess fit for Bolt’s checkout solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Small Business Account Executives to hand off warm opportunities and ensure a smooth buyer journey.
  • Craft tailored messaging and outreach strategies for different merchant segments, verticals, and use cases.
  • Leverage tools like Hubspot, Zoominfo, Gong, and others to manage outreach and track pipeline activity.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitors to bring context and insight to prospect conversations.
  • Consistently hit or exceed activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked) and pipeline generation targets.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and sales leadership to improve campaigns, messaging, and lead quality.

What would set you up for success:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or outbound sales role—preferably in SaaS, ecommerce, or fintech environment.
  • Comfortable handling outbound prospecting and initiating conversations with merchants and small business owners.
  • Familiarity with the ecommerce ecosystem, including merchant pain points and digital buying behavior.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—you know how to be concise, persuasive, and human.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through.
  • A collaborative team player with a learning mindset and a drive to build your sales career.
  • Bonus: Experience using Hubspot, Gong, Zoominfo or a similar sales tech stack.

Estimated on target earnings cash compensation for this role is $100,000-120,000 USD, with a split between base salary and commission, plus equity depending on experience.

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental and vision
  • Remote-first workplace
  • Time away: Minimum of 20 days guaranteed PTO, paid holidays + floating holidays, your birthday off!
  • Paid parental leave
  • Competitive Pay
  • Retirement plans
  • Virtual and in-person team & company events

In addition to our core values, Bolt is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity and expression, genetic information, pregnancy and related conditions, veteran status or any other reason prohibited by law. On our mission to democratize commerce, the Bolt platform levels the playing field for everyone. As a company, we are committed to designing products, building a culture, and supporting a team that reflects the diverse population we serve (that is, everyone).
