Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is a global quantitative and systematic investment manager, operating in all liquid asset classes across the world. We are a technology and data driven group implementing a scientific approach to investing. Combining data, research, technology, and trading expertise has shaped our collaborative mindset, which enables us to solve the most complex challenges. QRT's culture of innovation continuously drives our ambition to deliver high quality returns for our investors.

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our ETF Market Making desk. You will own the reliability and operational automation of a trading platform - ensuring it remains fast, stable, and scalable as we expand to new venues and products.

This is a desk-embedded role, not a central platform team. Your work has a direct, measurable impact on trading P&L. You will sit alongside traders, researchers, and developers, with full visibility into how your systems affect the business.

Your Future Role within QRT
  • Build and own observability, deployment, and incident response for the ETF trading platform
  • Design and implement development tooling and platform infrastructure to improve reliability and developer productivity
  • Manage system deployments, upgrades, and migrations
  • Automate exchange go-live operations, data pipelines, and desk workflows - leveraging AI tooling
  • Coordinate across exchange connectivity, quant platform, and risk teams as new venues are onboarded
Your Present Skill Set
  • 5+ years in production SRE or platform engineering in a latency-sensitive or financial environment
  • Deep expertise in Linux systems, cloud, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Experience with monitoring stacks and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency with AI and agentic coding tools to accelerate workflows
  • Strong Python and Bash scripting for automation and tooling
  • Excellent cross-team communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation
  • Prior experience in the finance industry is preferred but not required

QRT is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome diversity as essential to our success. QRT empowers employees to work openly and respectfully to achieve collective success. In addition to professional achievement, we are offering initiatives and programs to enable employees to achieve a healthy work-life balance.
