We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our ETF Market Making desk. You will own the reliability and operational automation of a trading platform - ensuring it remains fast, stable, and scalable as we expand to new venues and products.
This is a desk-embedded role, not a central platform team. Your work has a direct, measurable impact on trading P&L. You will sit alongside traders, researchers, and developers, with full visibility into how your systems affect the business.
Your Future Role within QRT- Build and own observability, deployment, and incident response for the ETF trading platform
- Design and implement development tooling and platform infrastructure to improve reliability and developer productivity
- Manage system deployments, upgrades, and migrations
- Automate exchange go-live operations, data pipelines, and desk workflows - leveraging AI tooling
- Coordinate across exchange connectivity, quant platform, and risk teams as new venues are onboarded
- 5+ years in production SRE or platform engineering in a latency-sensitive or financial environment
- Deep expertise in Linux systems, cloud, and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with monitoring stacks and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with AI and agentic coding tools to accelerate workflows
- Strong Python and Bash scripting for automation and tooling
- Excellent cross-team communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation
- Prior experience in the finance industry is preferred but not required
