Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Site Project Manger based out of our Service Centre in Hemel, covering sites across the UK and occasionally Europe.

Reporting to the Senior Project Team Lead – Remote PM’s, EMEA the Site Project Manger role involves delivering projects on site to specification, on time, on schedule, in line with the company standards of quality and safety and to budget to maximize the profits of the company.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Leading and driving a Project Team in terms of ownership, translating, managing and reporting the site aspects of the project
  • Identifying necessary resources and assigning individual responsibilities where appropriate
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with the client, colleagues and any other associated third party, managing day-to-day operational aspects on site
  • Effectively applying the Company’s methodology and enforcing project standards and at all times and in all respects conforming to and complying with the proper and reasonable directions and regulations of the Company.
  • Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to required timescales and cost restrictions, ensuring effective, timely and appropriate solutions are developed, communicated and implemented to fulfil the business requirement
  • Ensuring that project activities are coordinated with related projects and functional activities, so delays are avoided, and recorded to ensure commercial variations are issued.
  • Minimising exposure and risk throughout the project, ensuring commercial variations are captured and costed by the Sales Team.
  • Attending site meetings where required, carrying out any other responsibilities or tasks that are within your skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed or as requested by the Senior Project Team Lead
  • To monitor, control and support all maintenance/installation works undertaken on your allocated site, to provide and request technical support for your team and clients
  • Request and review job specific RAMS. Ensuring all site activities have approved RAMS in place, with all operatives signed on.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • Prince 2 or equivalent in Project Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in site management.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification.
  • SMSTS certification.
