As a Site and Reliability Engineer, you’ll be part of a global product engineering ecosystem, working closely with engineering and operational teams to ensure our platforms are reliable, secure, scalable and well-supported for our GTMD customers.
Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in
Supporting and operating mission-critical production systems for GTMD platforms
Working as part of an end-to-end product engineering team across development and operations
Monitoring systems, responding to incidents and contributing to service reliability improvements
Supporting and improving observability across metrics, logs and distributed tracing
Contributing to highly available, resilient architectures across AWS and hybrid environments
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
Reducing operational effort through smart automation and reliability-focused engineering
Supporting production releases and ensuring changes are safely migrated to live environments
Participating in an on-call rotation, including after-hours support when required
Continuously finding better ways to improve reliability, scalability and supportability
What you will bring
Experience providing production support for mission-critical applications
Hands on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and hybrid infrastructure environments
Exposure to containerised platforms and services such as Kubernetes, ECS, Kafka and Elasticache
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Buildkite, Jenkins, TeamCity or GitHub Actions
Engineering or scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Python, C#, Kotlin)
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Working knowledge of databases such as Postgres or SQL Server
A security first mindset across systems, networks and applications
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
Curiosity and interest in modern engineering practices, automation and reliability engineering
Willingness to learn and leverage modern tools, including Generative AI and code assistants, within governance and security boundaries
