Who are we?

We’re the @one Alliance – a ground-breaking collaboration between Anglian Water and seven industry-leading partners: Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO. Together, we deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.

As we enter into AMP8, our most ambitious period yet, we’ll be delivering an even broader range of innovative and environmentally-driven infrastructure projects – from urban drainage to nature-based solutions like constructed wetlands.

Why join us?

This is your chance to play an integral role in shaping a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing across the water industry. At @one Alliance, we are committed to building a safer, healthier, and more sustainable working environment for everyone.

We’re looking for a SHEQ Skills and Competence Coordinator to help us streamline training, facilitate learning, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, all while engaging with our teams to promote continuous development.

What you’ll be doing:

🟢 Assist in implementing SHEQ strategies, including supporting facilitators and managing       data systems.

🟢 Coordinate SHEQ training sessions and track key performance metrics to ensure compliance.

🟢 Facilitate communication between the Skills and Competence team and key stakeholders.

🟢 Maintain training records and provide reporting on SHEQ programme metrics.

🟢 Help manage training events and presentations, ensuring smooth delivery across teams.

🟢 Provide expert support for SHEQ learning and development initiatives, including Safer Every Day Orientations and the Alliance Passport to Work.

🟢 Assist in coordinating health, safety, and wellbeing training sessions.

🟢 Provide administrative support for cross-functional teamwork, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the Alliance.

🟢 Coordinate training logistics and maintain up-to-date competency records for reporting and audits.

🟢 Produce detailed reports on training performance, helping to track progress against SHEQ targets.

What you’ll bring:

✅ Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
✅ A keen interest in health, safety, and wellbeing, with a desire to support team development.
✅ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across different functions and stakeholders.
✅ Proficiency with data systems and tools, ensuring accurate data management and reporting.
✅ A proactive, can-do attitude and a strong team-oriented mindset.

Our vision and values:

The @One Alliance is more than just a delivery organisation—it’s a movement. We’re a collaborative team committed to driving change and delivering sustainable outcomes for our communities.
