The Operations department perform efficient day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a business. They implement processes, ensure helpful services for customers, and perform the primary tasks of the organization.

Job Overview

Operations carries out the designated day-to-day tasks to ensure the business operates efficiently and effectively. Focusing on Payments and Reconciliations, the role ensures the company mitigates financial risk and provides a valued service to its clients.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Monex Europe’s Settlement Operations

  • Liaise with Clients, Brokers and Banks to facilitate settlement of FX transactions and cash flows
  • Account reconciliation and remediation
  • Inward/Outward payment entry
  • Payment error investigation and resolution
  • Cash management of our nostro accounts
  • Undertaking Safeguarding and CASS daily requirements
  • Preparation of monthly account financial reconciliation reports
  • Adherence to compliance processes and operational manuals
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

Business Knowledge / Technical Skills:

  • Previous experience in customer service advantageous;
  • Previous experience with international payments advantageous;

Systems / Knowledge Skills:

  • MS Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • HR Systems – Workday;
  • Databases – FXDB (In House);
  • Client Portals – Monex Pay;
  • Banking Portals – Barclays.net etc.
