Titan Settlement & Custody (TS&C) is a subsidiary of Titan Wealth. Titan Settlement & Custody is an FCA regulated investment firm that provides:
· Custody services to predominantly discretionary fund managers (DFMs) and independent financial advisors (IFAs)
· Clearing and settlement services mainly on an agency basis for its DFMs and IFAs
· Trade execution services mainly for its DFMs, IFAs and institutional clients
· Utilising the same core infrastructure, Titan Settlement & Custody also serves a significant number of institutional broker-dealers and institutional investor clients.
The role
The purpose of this role is to provide professional day to day support to our Global Client base during the trade lifecycle. Over and above the day-to-day responsibilities outlined below, the associate will help maintain an inclusive and open environment and be unafraid to challenge the status quo. The role sits within the Clearing & Custody Settlements team which has responsibility for providing professional support to a diverse and global client base during the post trade lifecycle in multi asset class securities across all our business lines.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract - 35 hours a week - 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage pending transactions, liaising with clients and service providers for resolution.
- Deal with ad-hoc queries regarding platform/reporting issues, trading activities, cash/position management etc.
- Identification and escalation of various risk types.
- Identification and escalation of potentially problematic or suspect transactions.
- Managing failing transactions and reporting to management.
- Assist with compilation and distribution of MI to help with risk management and tailored client service.
Requirements
- A recent 2:1 degree minimum, ideally for a subject such as Economics, Finance or Business Management.
- Demonstrable ability to deal with demanding situations calmly and effectively.
- Comfortable working closely with senior management and stakeholders, with the ability and confidence to challenge the status quo and put forward new ideas.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify and escalate potential and problematic situation with own initiative
- Experience in high volume, global equity/fixed income settlements function. Ideally from a Custody/Settlements/Clearing Ops background (preferable)
- Experience in a settlements role (preferable)
