Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the Software, Services & Solutions (SSS) category to create, coordinate and deliver our sales targets through our direct and indirect channel partners.

  • Use data driven insights to help shape the SSS product strategy, to enable sales and marketing teams to deliver revenue and market share targets

  • Take ownership of the full Knox product suite at a local level, co-ordinating closely with our Suwon Headquarters in South Korea to be known as the ‘go-to’ expert by internal partners and customers alike

  • Work with the Customer Success (CX) team to create and run a suite of resalable service ‘packs’, including the development of Samsung Care+ for Business

  • Deeply understand, interpret and champion our B2B accessory ecosystem, the market, it’s solutions, channels and competitors. Pick and curate a range of partnerships and products which support our hardware strategy and drive differentiation for Samsung

  • Work closely with the other B2B product managers to ensure cross product propositions like Enterprise Edition are developed, driven and activated by customers

  • Produce launch materials and support product launch, ranging and sell through.

  • Support commercial modelling for customer quotes and liase with Suwon to gain approval.

  • Work with wider peer group (including sales, marketing, service, solutions) to ensure alignment and consensus of the plans with a clear feedback loop and issue management. Working with peer groups to identify areas of opportunity and risk, developing solutions to ensure the plan is delivered.

  • Actively track and report the sales performance of SSS, identifying and analysing areas of below plan performance. Go deep to understand what is behind the performance and make strong timely recommendations on how to correct or offset. Work with internal team members to rapidly raise areas of concern and build effective solutions to return performance back to the plan.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Product Management experience, preferably including software, mobility devices, or a related technology field

  • A demonstrable passion for the transformative power of technology for businesses or consumers

  • Understanding of how to turn data into actionable insights, to drive business outcomes

  • An ability to confidently communicate complex products using simple language, to be able to tell stories with both Excel and PowerPoint

  • Able to work across a complex matrix organisation, with many collaborators

  • Strong powers of resilience, organisation and prioritisation, to flourish with the high pace of change within Samsung and it’s markets

What does success look like?

In the first 6-12 months a successful candidate would need to…

  • Gain a solid understanding of all aspects of the Samsung SSS roadmap

  • Work with sales teams to handle the current range of B2B sku's, maximising sales, profit and stock metrics

  • Build out product and channel tactics, tools and commercials, which will help enable the sales teams to drive growth
