As a ServiceNow Tooling Manager at LI, you will sit at the heart of a multi-vendor support model where each day will revolve around more than just successful delivery of support outcomes.

The successful candidate will continuously drive support across the business - from the Service Desk right through to our Dev Teams and Product Owners - ensuring a superior service for our customers while hitting and exceeding our support targets.

Your daily navigation will involve supporting our services in harmony with the highest industry standards such as ITIL V4, ISO 27001 and ISO 20000.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, including user administration, system configuration, and upgrades.
  • Providing software coding and development to tailor and configure ServiceNow applications and modules, including workflows, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts.
  • Integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and other integration tools.
  • Successfully planning executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing all technical tasks related to the configuration and implementation of changes to the platform.
  • Monitoring and resolving incidents and problems related to the ServiceNow platform, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Developing and maintaining items in the service catalogue, ensuring accurate and efficient request fulfilment processes.
  • Implementing and maintaining security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ensuring ServiceNow is correctly maintained to industry standards ensuring supportability and compliance by managing instance version upgrades, patches and hotfixes are applied, together with any plug-ins or integrations.
  • Managing the roadmap of development for ServiceNow and associated systems by liaising closely with business stakeholders and support partner(s) to ensure business requirements are planned for and met.
  •  Providing support and training to end-users and stakeholders, ensuring effective use of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes.

You may be required to undertake other duties assigned by your line manager as appropriate.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the following

  • Considerable direct experience with ServiceNow administration, development and configuration
  • In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including modules IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and associated systems integrations.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and other scripting languages used within ServiceNow. Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL principles and practices, particularly in incident, problem, change management and the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Certifications

You will hold one or more of the following

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • Certified Implementation Specialist
  • ITIL Foundation
