The Opportunity:

Client Managed Services Service Performance Management (SPM) teams own the technical relationship with the client, they are responsible and accountable for the service provided to a set of clients, within geographic regions. The Service Performance Manager ensures the client’s service operates within a set of KPI’s and make suitable adjustments to ensure it continues to do so. Service Performance teams work with our clients to adapt the services received, in line with the ever-changing requirements of the investment management industry. Alongside our sales and account management teams, SPM team provides regular service reviews with our clients, to reinforce our value proposition, provide industry insight and uncover further opportunity to solve our client’s challenges. 

We are currently recruiting for a Service Performance Senior Consultant to join our London based team and supplement our global team.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established firm with a global presence and significant growth potential. 

What you will do:

  • Managing and growing existing clients:  
    • Oversight and management of all flow workload for a set of existing business accounts 
    • In depth knowledge of the existing accounts and history 
    • Provision of expert advice to clients around their feed requirements
    • Periodical service reviews with the clients
    • Work very closely with the Existing Business Sales Manager, involved in any strategic decisions and new opportunities
  • General point of escalation for the Second Line Feed management team and source of data, product and technical expertise;  
    • Databases, vendor methodology 
    • Systems 
    • Client data usage 
  • Leadership  
    • Effective management of group workload 
    • Sensible delegation linked to progression & targets 
    • Constructive feedback and training 

Who you are:

  • Strong work experience in the financial data industry 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills 
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Candidates must be of Graduate calibre, preferably a bachelor’s degree in a finance or a related field 
  • Significant experience as a Service Manager or Senior Consultant or related position within the financial data industry

Desirable: 

  • Sound working knowledge of financial spreadsheets, databases and applications 
  • Experienced and highly proficient with MS Excel® and MS PowerPoint® 
  • Knowledge of Financial concepts, including income benchmarks and securities  
  • Leadership skills and ability to work as well as independently 
  • Experience in a client facing role within financial markets
