The Role

We are looking for an SEO Manager, a genuine SEO all-rounder who will take responsibility for devising, implementing and overseeing the SEO strategy for LiveScore.com. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in international SEO and a commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, measure performance, and clearly demonstrate SEO’s impact on business growth. This is a data-driven role where analysis and ongoing optimisation are central to daily operations. You’ll work closely with the Head of SEO to shape and deliver a high-impact SEO roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for driving and implementing the SEO performance for LiveScore.com.
  • Perform technical audits and identify improvements across the brand.
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure releases align with SEO requirements.
  • Track performance against KPIs, derive actionable insights from analytics, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring clear communication and deliverables.
  • Summarise SEO performance for colleagues and senior management, including forecasting campaign impact.
  • Oversee content creation with our sports writers to deliver editorial sports news and optimised SEO content.
  • Provide strategic guidance, content templates, and best-practice frameworks to support consistent, high-quality output.
  • Responsible for keeping content fresh and up-to-date, uploading articles within the CMS to ensure timely publication.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and support link building strategy refinement.
  • Review and document workflows to ensure operational consistency
  • Managing other members in the team and coordinating their work.
  • Work closely with the Head of SEO on strategy development, execution, and key initiatives.
  • Performing ad-hoc SEO tasks as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in SEO with a genuine passion and keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
  • Solid understanding of HTML and JavaScript, particularly in the context of rendering, page speed, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, aHrefs etc and LLM prompts.
  • Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and the evolving search landscape shaped by AI-powered responses.
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing, performance metrics, and the broader ecosystem including display, social, app, email, print, and TV.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Proactive, having excellent problem-solving skills and organisation skills.
