Boss Revolution: Calling App
The mobile application, which includes International Calling, Mobile Top-up, and Money Transfer services, supports IDT's mission of enabling people to keep in touch and share resources with family and friends worldwide.
As DevOps you will:
- Lead infrastructure initiatives with a focus on innovation, reliability, and scalability in DevOps practices.
- Architect, implement, and refine infrastructure solutions to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Oversee CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions, GitLab pipelines and ArgoCD effectively.
- Collaborate with the software engineering team to ensure software and system interdependencies are stable.
- Ensure system security through industry best practices.
- Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
- Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
- Respond to incidents with an on-call rotation using OpsGenie.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes in production environments (3+ years).
- Proficiency in TerraformIn-depth understanding of AWS services and concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one CI/CD tool (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD).
- Good understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Good level of English – B2 or higher.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Helm for Kubernetes application management.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes ingress management.
- Understanding of or experience with Apache Pulsar (or similar) for messaging or event streaming.
- Knowledge in automated certificate management with tools like Cert Manager.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Experience with modern monitoring / logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Graylog, Loki.
