THE ROLE:Snowflake is looking for a Senior Workplace Specialist to join the Global Workplace team and support the operations of our London office.
In this role, you will be responsible for a broad range of activities, from vendor coordination to enhancing the service experience for employees, guests, and partners. You will contribute to creating and maintaining a pleasant, aesthetic, and functional work environment, supporting employees in experiencing a high level of organisational effectiveness, communication, safety, and engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee day-to-day Workplace operations, ensuring a clean, safe, functional and engaging office environment.
Support the Regional Workplace Manager with workplace projects, developing procedures, policies and streamlining processes.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, proactively identifying risks and coordinating corrective actions.
Partner with key internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Finance, etc.) to ensure seamless operational delivery.
Manage vendor contracts and performance, including cost reviews and maintaining high service delivery standards.
Lead and support onsite events and employee experience initiatives, bringing creativity to enhance workplace culture.
Plan and execute operational projects such as seating planning, sustainability programs, renovations and office moves.
Utilise workplace technology, ensuring accuracy across space management platforms, dashboards and service desk tools.
Track and manage workplace issues, maintaining task lists, reviewing KPIs and ensuring timely resolution.
Streamline workplace communications, delivering clear, engaging updates on workplace initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for efficiency, innovation and enhanced employee experience.
3-5 years facilities positions or similar roles (fast pace environment – big plus)
Exhibit analytical, strategic planning, and execution skills.
Strategic approach to planning/problem solving combined with hands-on approach. Proven organizational skills. Strong execution skills meeting short deadlines - a must.
Proven experience with running a functional, engaging, aesthetic workplace: management of office M&E systems, workplace service providers and housekeeping & catering team
Undertaking physical inspection of the facilities and premises and prioritizing maintenance as appropriate
Have an excellent track record of establishing relationships, influencing and negotiating competing priorities among business partners
Have a proven ability to deliver concise and simple written and verbal communications to cross-functional stakeholders
Customer centric approach.
Proficient with GSuite & Slack. Familiarity with Workday, ZIP, Envoy a bonus.
