Position Summary

Harness is looking for a Workplace Experience Specialist to serve as the first face of our London office. This role’s focus is creating an engaging and welcoming atmosphere by welcoming guests and supporting employee-facing services. This position will require the person to be in the office full time. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Workplace Design + Experience and work closely with the global Workplace Design + Experience team.

About the role

  • Fulfill front desk administrative duties including greeting visitors and employees, sign-ins, receiving and sending mail, accepting deliveries
  • Monitor freshservice tickets and following process to assign to the appropriate team member
  • Monitor and answer our voicemail inbox, transferring messages to the appropriate parties as needed.
  • Coordinate the content collection and updating  of our knowledge sharing pages for internal team playbook and external employee information pages
  • Proactively and consistently keep high traffic areas in good care and order.  Clean up as needed.
  • Escalate all facilities maintenance requests/issues to the Manager, Americas Workplace Design + Experience
  • Assist the Workplace leadership in coordinating in office events 
  • Additional ad-hoc administrative duties 

About you

  • Located in London and comfortable with coming into the London office daily
  • Prior experience in a Reception, Hospitality, or Customer Service role
  • Great customer service experience
  • Stellar communication skills and a high EQ, with an ability to strike the right tone in emails and verbal communications
  • Good technological literacy and ability to quickly learn and navigate new tools (MS Office, Google mail, Slack, Zoom, etc)
  • Demonstrated work experience in organizational and problem solving skills
  • Super-flexible, adaptable, practical, and agile
  • Ability to work independently, follow directions and work well as part of a team
  • Proactive and assertive approach to completing  tasks and responsibilities; excel at anticipating needs
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work.
