Why We’re Different

We're not sitting around trying to achieve product/market fit and burning VC funding while expecting everyone to work ridiculous hours for low probability of future reward. We're profitable, organized, experienced, and in growth mode. Not going the VC route means our team can do things differently, and compensate our people differently.

Job Purpose

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, your focus is on making our platform more human, effective and fun. You’ll also help drive a big rebranding effort as we expand our product offerings beyond legal forms. As a key contributor to our team, you will have an outsized impact and be able to see your contribution from day one.

Using your deep understanding of human behavior and how design influences actions, you’ll implement a new UI/UX strategy to drive conversion rate improvements across our entire site—from homepage to in-app dashboards and feature workflows, all the way to pricing and checkout. You’ll apply thorough funnel analysis and A/B testing to identify low-hanging fruit, improve key metrics, and “squeeze more juice out of the lemons.” By continually refining designs based on user data and feedback, you’ll ensure that every component of the user journey is optimized.

In addition to optimizing the user experience, you’ll take ownership of the graphic and visual design process, guiding the creation of compelling landing pages and marketing assets that align with our brand and business goals. You’ll ensure that all design outputs are consistent, high-quality, and strategically impactful, driving our visual identity and supporting campaign success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to develop sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
  • Work with internal design team and external design agencies to augment the company’s design practice.
  • Assist in evolving the brand and visual application to all aspects of the company (Marketing, Landing Pages, etc)
  • Continually keep yourself updated with the latest changes to industry standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS desktop/mobile web design.
  • Exceptional UI and UX skills, with a greater emphasis on UX.
  • Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, Figma, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, and Framer.
  • Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
  • Understanding of UX design best practices, including mobile-first and responsive design.

Benefits

  • Future growth: Optimal time to join our growth story
  • Competitive compensation package
  • 15 days paid vacation, 5 days paid sick annually
  • Full remote working environment with flexibility to set your own daily schedule

Here at Taroko, we believe wholeheartedly in building a culture of appreciation, respect, inclusion, and fun! We also have active give-back programs, bring your pet to work options, work from home gift baskets, paid maternity leave, and much more.

If you are a talented and ambitious Senior UI/UX Designer that's ready to take your career to the next level, and want to work with a small group of like-minded people, you’ve come to the right place.

Send us your resume, design portfolio, and a brief message explaining why you’re the perfect fit!

Please note that we will not provide any forms of visa sponsorship, and it is necessary for the applicants to be authorized to work in the countries they are based or will be.
