The role

Lendlease is currently recruiting for a Senior Treasury Analyst on a 6 month fixed term contract. This role plays a critical function, in which you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and reporting on treasury activities in financial transactions, liquidity management, and risk exposure while ensuring operational efficiency in treasury operations.  This includes to ensure compliance with policies, internal controls and external regulations, and providing analytical support to front-office trading and risk management teams in strategic decision-making

What will you do?
 

  • Assist in treasury operations and controls by
  • monitoring treasury transactions, including cash management, foreign exchange, debt, and investments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.
  • validating and reconciling treasury deals, confirming compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
  • ensuring proper documentation and execution including accurate trade capture, confirmation, and settlement.
  • Supporting front office in funding, daily liquidity management and cash forecasting.
  • Manage risk and compliance through monitoring of risk exposures and ensure adherence to Treasury Policy, regulatory requirements and internal risk limits.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly and monthly treasury reports on liquidity, risk exposure, financial analyses, internal management updates, lender marketing materials, offering memorandums and support senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
  • Identify opportunities and support treasury-related initiatives including treasury workflows enhancement, process improvements implementation and automation of reporting processes.
  • Assist in the strategic management of financier and counterparty relationships in accordance with group relationship management plans, as well as develop and maintain relationships with a broad network capital providers, such as commercial and investment banks, debt funds, agency lenders, life insurance companies, credit platforms, and other institutional investors.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as finance, risk and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliations, work closely with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
  • Participate in the execution of project level financings across various asset classes and geographies, including debt origination, syndication, and closing for the Development and Investment Management platforms. 
  • Support front office in asset and portfolio management by analysing borrower quarterly reporting and ensuring loan covenant compliance.
  • Assist front office in overseeing loan and operating agreement restructuring processes to achieve favourable outcomes and resolve issues.
  • Participate in strategic planning, deal structuring, and negotiations to support business objectives and growth opportunities.

You will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field.  A master’s degree or professional certification (MBA, CFA, MSc in Finance, Masters of Applied Finance etc.,) is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in treasury, risk management or financial analysis, with at least 2 years in a middle office function.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury products, including derivatives, foreign exchange, money markets, and debt instruments.
  • Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and financial market platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc).
  • Strong analytical, modelling, problem-solving, report writing skills, outstanding attention to detail, and motivated self-starter.
  • Proactive, customer service focus is essential.
  • Ability to multi-task, high tolerance for change & ambiguity, work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
