Senior Transformation Manager

Cromwell Hospital, (SW5 0TU) and other London office sites

Hybrid

Full Time – 37.5 hours

Fixed term – 12 months

Role Overview

As a Senior Transformation Manager, you will be project managing a wide range of business projects and programmes within the Cromwell Hospital and broader London specialist Diagnostic Centres and Bupa Health Services business. Delivering agreed financial and business outcomes, and alignment with the BGUK MU strategy.

This may encompass all stages of the project life cycle including investigation, analysis of business requirements, identification of solutions, implementation and post implementation review.

This is a critical role supporting delivery of the business’s transformation strategy, covering a diverse range of strategic ambitions, requiring collaboration with a broad mix of stakeholders.

How you’ll help us make health happen:

  • People management responsibility for project delivery team members, ensuring an engaged team (world class leadership), delivery of an outstanding performance across the Transformation function and BU KPI’s. 
  • Managing delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects using a recognised, sound development approach to ensure that objectives are met within timescales and budget.
  • Identifying the scope of projects and define work streams and their deliverables setting challenging but realistic timescales for delivery and building an overall project plan.
  • For each project, identifying and managing the risk, impact and dependencies (including communication and training).
  • Owning the management and delivery of the project plan, building a business case and ensuring that the project meets its objectives and is delivered to budget and on time.
  • Reporting progress to the business sponsor and other interested parties, ensuring that issues are raised and dealt with, connecting with any Bupa BG UK processes as required.
  • Challenging the direction and scope of projects, identifying and encouraging radical opportunities and assisting in developing ideas, solutions and resolutions, ensuring that all projects remain aligned to business priorities.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Relevant experience within a healthcare setting - essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate others by encouraging participation and ownership.
  • Project Management experience with expertise in Agile methodologies.
  • Flexible attitude to change well versed in the principles of change management with ability to coach others through the process of change.
  • Able to take a non-directive approach to problems, work with teams to provide processes to enable others to reach their own solutions.
  • Builds and maintain credible relationships, instils confidence and trust in colleagues by demonstrating a sound knowledge and understanding.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within an organisation.
  • Ability to influence and persuade, through highlighting common benefits and negotiating with relevant parties to achieve results.
  • Able to prioritise multiple projects and agendas to bring a successful delivery, including in a pressurised environment.
