Role Profile
  • Securities Ops Change delivers change across the commercial, regulatory and tactical space.
  • A Senior Test Analyst is required to assist and meet the testing needs of the Equity Clear Ltd and RepoClear Ltd programmes.
  • The Senior Test Analyst will liaise with all relevant teams within EquityClear and RepoClear Ltd LTD (and the organisation as a whole) in order to analyse the impact of change.
  • This role exists to analyse and coordinate the business-related project testing tasks associated with the MCCP Platform and associated infrastructure, reporting to the Securities Operations Change Test Manager.
  • At a high level, the Senior Test Analyst role will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of Functional testing (FT), Regression Testing (RT), Non-Functional Testing (NFT), System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years hands on experience and knowledge in these functions.

Key Responsibilities

The role of the Senior Test Analyst will be to:


  • Perform a wide range of quality control related activities to ensure that software and technology solutions meet or exceed specified standards and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate verbal and written reports to the Test Manager and Phase Leads/Project Managers.  Briefing stakeholders and Head of Securities Operations Change will also be a key function of the role.
  • Study requirements, stories and acceptance criteria and raise clarifications with Business and Technical Analysts where required.
  • Implement test plans to deliver test phases on time.
  • Design efficient functional and non-functional test scenarios and cases ensuring there is traceability back to all business requirements.
  • Prepare the testing data.
  • Ensure environment readiness at inception and during test phases.
  • Maintenance and execution of tests, recording of results and undertaking defect management.
  • Reporting progress and issues clearly and concisely.
  • Attend relevant meetings (standups, triages) and review sessions with key representatives and provide updates and feedback.
  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of technologies, tools and frameworks across the testing domain.
  • Take ownership, socialise ideas and best practice with the business users and working together to achieve efficient delivery of change through quality assurance across the commercial and tactical work streams.
  • Ensure that Quality Assurance procedures and SLA’s are updated / created where applicable.
  • Translate test processes and tooling methodology into wiki/confluence pages.
  • Maintains LSEG internal control standards.  Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations, governance and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the role is involved.
