Your Mission:

The Strategic Technical Success Manager (TSM) for UK, is the single most important technical and commercial point of contact for Nuvei's most valuable clients. This is a rare hybrid: you bring the deep technical fluency of a senior solutions engineer together with the commercial ownership and relationship instincts of a strategic account leader. You will own a portfolio of Nuvei's flagship strategic accounts, the top tier of our global client base and be measured not only on flawless technical delivery, but on the growth, trust, and long-term success of the businesses you look after.

You are the trusted advisor clients call first, the person who turns complex payment challenges into elegant solutions, and the internal champion who translates client ambition into product reality. You will architect solutions on the Nuvei platform, lead the implementation of new products and features, unlock new business through enablement, and drive measurable commercial outcomes, higher authorization and conversion rates, expanded processing volume, and deeper, stickier partnerships.

If you think like an engineer, act like an owner, and build relationships like a partner, this role is built for you.

Responsibilities

  • Own the relationship: Build and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with senior technical and commercial stakeholders on the client side, becoming a genuine partner in their success.
  • Trusted technical advisor: Act as the strategic focal and escalation point for UK strategic accounts across technical improvements, new business requirements, and critical incidents, delivering white-glove service on every interaction.
  • Drive growth & Think business-first: Convert technical excellence into commercial outcomes: expand processing volume, improve authorization and conversion rates, and identify and unlock new revenue opportunities within your portfolio. Understand each client's business framework and its technical implications within the fast-moving payments landscape, and translate market trends and regulation into value for the client.
  • Solution architecture, Implementation & enablement: Master the Nuvei Core Platform architecture and design end-to-end payment solutions that fit each client's business model, market, and regulatory context. Lead the implementation of new products and features, coordinate integration projects, and enable new business by getting clients live quickly, cleanly, and at scale.
  • Production & Product go-to person: Own production escalations and clarifications, direct support teams to resolution, troubleshoot with rigor, and tie up every loose end. Identify product gaps, shape and prioritize the roadmap with Product and R&D, and see enhancements through to delivery with full accountability.
  • Strategic account planning: Analyze internal and external data to build detailed technical and growth plans for your accounts, prioritizing the work that moves the needle for the client and for Nuvei.
  • Collaborate across the company: Partner with Sales, Product, R&D, and Operations — and engage Directors, VPs, and C-level stakeholders on both sides — to make things happen. Share best practices, coach peers, and help raise the technical and commercial bar across the wider Technical Success team.
  • Establish operational service excellence through identification of issues, troubleshooting and execution of technical fixes to improve efficiency, remove obstacles, or create optimal processes and approaches to the business.
  • Conduct rigorous analysis of internal and external data sources, in order to identify strategic alternatives and devising detailed development and technical plans for Nuvei's Premium clients and Key accounts.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks running on parallel timelines and collaborate in a global and remote environment, while working in versatile fields (technology, product and business).
  • Cross-functional delivery: Mediate custom requirements between the client and internal engineering, coordinating timelines, tasks, and development efforts so projects ship on plan.
  • Provide excellent customer service (white-gloved) through active listening on every interaction while adjusting support approach to accommodate client needs.
  • Passionate about technology and customer service and helping others.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with strategic clients in a demanding international B2B environment in various Technical Products and Integration Projects at a SaaS company.
  • 8+ years in a technical, client-facing role — Technical Success / Account Management, Solutions or Implementation Engineering, or Sales Engineering — supporting strategic clients in a demanding international B2B environment.
  • 7+ years in the payments industry, with a strong grasp of the ecosystem: acquiring, orchestration, alternative payment methods, authorization and conversion optimization, and the regulatory landscape across your markets.
  • Strong technical depth: Web-based system architecture and the client-server model, hands-on fluency with REST APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and integration frameworks; comfortable reading data and (a plus) writing SQL to get to the answer.
  • A commercial, client-driven mindset: You connect technical decisions to business outcomes and are energized by growing a client's business and your portfolio.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills: You scope requirements precisely, prioritize ruthlessly, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
  • Proven delivery in a global, remote, matrixed environment: You juggle multiple parallel workstreams across technology, product, and business, and you deliver.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (an advanced degree is a plus, not a requirement).
  • Fluent, high-level English: Verbal and written; additional languages relevant to your region are a plus.
  • We are looking for an AAA person to join our A-Team: Autodidact, Accountable, and Amazing. If that's you, come build what's next with us.

Benefits
  • 25 Days annual leave + Bank Holidays
  • Private Medical
  • Employee Assisted Programme
  • Contributory Pension
  • Parental Leave
