Job Description

As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you’ll be responsible for hiring the best talent for our Product and Engineering teams across APAC. You’ll be a key member of the global recruitment team with a focus on delivering exceptional talent and keeping the customer experience for our candidates and hiring teams at the heart of everything you do. You’ll have a growth mindset, be data driven, have proven experience in strong execution towards goals and deliverables, and be a role model for excellent business partnership. This is a 12-month full time contract position based in Singapore.

Your mission:

  • End-to-end recruitment across multiple functions with a focus on roles based in Wise’s Asia Pacific offices from sourcing to offer negotiation.

  • Build top of funnel candidate pools and efficiently manage candidate pipelines to meet business hiring needs.

  • Devise and execute sourcing strategies to build passive candidate pools and increase sourced candidate conversion for more technical and niche roles.

  • Provide excellent candidate experience to all candidates throughout their application journey

  • Build rapport and establish trust with hiring leads as their strategic recruitment partner through subject matter expertise, data driven decisions and effective hiring delivery.

  • Partner global recruitment teams on broader recruitment initiatives to provide regional perspective and contribute to our global team’s process and capability enhancements.

  • Collaborate closely with wider APAC people team to ensure seamless recruitment and onboarding journeys for candidates.

  • Lead and participate in regional initiatives aimed at boosting employer brand and attracting passive talent.

Qualifications

A bit about you: 

  • You have a proven track record of hiring exceptional talent for tech roles while delivering the best partnering experience to candidates and hiring teams.

  • You drive excellence and set an example when it comes to recruiting business partnering with senior leaders (you operate best as a partner, not a service provider).

  • You have delivered results in DEI recruiting by driving best practices such as diverse slate, mitigating for biases throughout the process and holding leaders accountable.

  • You use data to support your hiring recommendations, as well as using it to retro processes, figure out the blockers to hiring and communicate how these can be overcome.

  • You take ownership for ensuring a positive experience for candidates and have the technical sourcing skills to build a pipeline of passive talent vs inbound/applicants.

  • You work smart, continually optimising for automation where relevant, sharing knowledge and resources to work efficiently in a scalable way. 

  • Finally, you’re located and legally authorised to work in Singapore and do not require visa sponsorship.
