Senior Technical Project Manager

As Senior Technical Project Manager, you will lead high-impact strategic technical initiatives while ensuring operational excellence through a balance of strategic leadership and tactical execution. Key responsibilities include:

• Drive the development of technical initiatives that strengthen Aristocrat's competitive advantage in the gaming industry.
• Collaborate directly with senior leadership to establish governance frameworks, secure critical resources, and maintain strategic alignment throughout the project execution lifecycle.
• Drive the strategic project intake process, ensuring all initiatives align with leadership priorities and organizational objectives.
• Coordinate complex workstreams across engineering, design, compliance, marketing, and business units to deliver cohesive, integrated technical solutions.
• Lead technical projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting approach based on project requirements and organizational context.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with precise scope definition, efficient resource allocation, realistic timelines, and well-controlled budget management.
• Create and implement effective project communication plans, compelling project charters, and comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Develop and execute change management approaches that drive adoption and minimize disruption across the organization.
• Deliver concise, impactful status reports highlighting progress against key milestones, emerging risks, and critical issues requiring attention.
• Systematically identify, assess, and prioritize project risks before they impact deliverables or timelines.
• Develop robust risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies to maintain project momentum despite challenges.
• Address emerging issues decisively, with appropriate escalation paths to senior leadership when necessary.
• Contribute to the advancement of project management practices across the organization through innovation and knowledge sharing.
• Guide junior team members in developing technical skills, project management expertise, and leadership capabilities.
• Foster a high-performance culture that celebrates achievement and drives continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in the Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience as a Technical Project Manager, leading and delivering strategic technical projects within a technology-driven organization.
• Demonstrated strategic mindset, with a track record of aligning projects with business objectives and delivering tangible results.
• Firm grasp on the product technology and software development process and pitfalls throughout planning, execution, and delivery.
• Ability to innovate in a dynamic environment with multiple cross-functional business units.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall project management practices.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Experience in reporting project status, risks, issues, and resource utilization to stakeholders and leadership.
• Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams and foster a culture of excellence.
• Proficiency in project management software, collaboration tools, and analytics platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on resolving issues and delivering high-quality results within project constraints.
