Position Overview:

The Senior Technical Project Manager, Marketing Strategy & Engagement serves as the execution driver and cross‑functional facilitator for strategic marketing and enterprise technology initiatives. Reporting to the Marketing Director, Digital Analytics and partnering closely with the Chief Intelligence Officer (CIO), this role ensures disciplined coordination, alignment, and delivery across complex, technology‑enabled programs. The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for structuring initiatives, driving momentum, managing dependencies, and ensuring successful execution across marketing, technology, and operational workstreams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the VP, Marketing Strategy & Engagement to plan, structure, and execute strategic marketing initiatives aligned to customer engagement, retention, servicing, and brand objectives.
  • Translate marketing strategies and executive priorities into detailed project plans, roadmaps, timelines, and resourcing models.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of high-impact marketing programs, from intake and scoping through execution, launch, and post-campaign evaluation.
  • Oversee execution of complex lifecycle and cross-channel marketing initiatives spanning email, SMS, digital content, print, CRM, and emerging channels.
  • Coordinate campaign workflows across creative, CRM, analytics, technology, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Ensure campaign milestones, approvals, testing, and launch readiness are met without compromising quality or brand standards.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between Marketing Strategy & Engagement team members and key partners including Technology, Data, Servicing, Product, Creative, Operations, Compliance, and Sales.
  • Facilitate alignment of priorities, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables across multiple teams and leadership levels.
  • Proactively identify risks, constraints, and bottlenecks, escalating issues with clear recommendations and mitigation plans.
  • Establish and maintain project management best practices, workflows, and governance frameworks for the Marketing Strategy & Engagement team.
  • Implement intake, prioritization, and capacity-planning processes to support a growing portfolio of initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution through retrospectives, performance metrics, and operational insights.
  • Track project performance against timelines, scope, and objectives, providing regular status updates and dashboards to senior leadership.
  • Support post-launch analysis by coordinating with analytics teams to assess outcomes and capture learnings.
  • Prepare concise, executive-ready communications that clearly articulate progress, risks, and outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years of project or program management experience, with an emphasis on marketing, digital, or technology initiatives.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in dynamic, deadline-driven environments.
  • Experience in financial services, mortgage, fintech, or similarly regulated industries, preferred.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, digital channels, and analytics workflows.
  • Familiarity with compliance and approval processes in regulated marketing environments, preferred.
  • Comfortable working with data, KPIs, and performance metrics to inform prioritization and decision-making.
  • Skilled in managing multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities.
  • Skilled in project management methodologies (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall) and utilizing project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Clickup, or similar).
  • Skilled in interpreting marketing strategy and translating it into actionable, result-driven plans that support business goals.
  • Excellent organizational, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the skill to engage confidently with senior leaders and executives.
