Algolia is set to enable every company to create world-class Search and Discovery experiences with an API-first approach. Performance and Scalability is at the heart of our mission: we power 1.5 trillion searches a year, for 10K+ customers all over the world. We see Developer Experience as a key element of our offering: we maintain high-quality SDKs for a dozen languages and platforms. We value Grit, Trust, Candor, Care and Humility. If you’re a problem solver, able to think outside the box and eager to nurture others and learn from them, then this is your challenge!

Join Our Technical Program Management Team!

At Algolia, we believe that the key to successful engineering teams is seamless collaboration and exceptional program management. As part of our Technical Program Management (TPM) team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving engineering success from idea to execution. We're looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager who thrives on getting things done, managing complexity, and delivering results at scale.

In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and communication of complex technical programs, ensuring that milestones are met and that teams are aligned on both technical and business objectives. You will be the go-to person for cross-functional coordination and will have the autonomy to manage risks, dependencies, and communication with stakeholders at all levels.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead Technical Strategy & Execution: Use your technical expertise to partner with engineering leads, product managers, and other stakeholders to define, plan, and execute engineering initiatives on time.
  • Drive Program Success: Break down OKRs into actionable milestones, ensuring that risks, blockers, and delays are proactively managed to keep the team on track.
  • Optimise Cross-Functional Collaboration: Own the coordination of cross-functional dependencies, ensuring smooth execution across engineering, product, and other teams. Adapt the scope, schedule, and resources as needed to deliver on goals.
  • Shape Technical Solutions: Identify gaps in proposed solutions, contribute to technical discussions, and help make key decisions on product vs. technical trade-offs to ensure we’re solving the right problems with the best approach.
You might be a fit if you have:
  • A strong track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects from concept through delivery, with an ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to navigate between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven skills in data analysis and reporting, helping stakeholders make informed decisions and track progress.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and clearly articulate business impact.
  • Experience in high-growth, scaling organisations (preferably with 10,000+ customers and an ARR range of $50-200M) where change is constant and infrastructure is evolving.
We’re looking for someone who can live our values:
  • GRIT - Problem-solving and perseverance capability in an ever-changing and growing environment
  • TRUST - Willingness to trust our co-workers and to take ownership
  • CANDOR - Ability to receive and give constructive feedback.
  • CARE - Genuine care about other team members, our clients, and the decisions we make in the company.
  • HUMILITY - Aptitude for learning from others, putting ego aside.

Being well capitalized enables Algolia to continue to invest in its market leading platform, to better serve its thousands of customers–including Under Armor, Petsmart, Stripe, Gymshark, and Walgreens, to name just a few.
