Make an impact across our global technology environment

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Operations Specialist to help deliver reliable, secure, and effective technology services to Minitab employees across our international offices.

This is a hands-on, varied role combining end-user technical support, office technology and infrastructure, stakeholder management, security, and global TechOps initiatives. You’ll take ownership of technology environments across assigned locations, solve complex technical challenges, and help ensure our employees have the tools and services they need to do their best work.

If you enjoy combining technical expertise with excellent customer service—and want a role where you can make an impact across multiple countries and offices—this could be a great opportunity for you.

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Technical Operations Specialist, you’ll:

  • Provide senior-level technical support to employees in person, remotely, and virtually across desktop, endpoint, network, telephony, mobile, and collaboration technologies.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, connectivity, and other technology issues, helping minimise disruption and downtime.

  • Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and relocate hardware, software, operating systems, and related equipment.

  • Coordinate software deployments, patches, updates, and technology enhancements to maintain secure and reliable services.

  • Manage and support office technology environments, including infrastructure, endpoints, telephony, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.

  • Work with vendors and service providers to deliver infrastructure, telephony, and office technology solutions.

  • Visit office locations to assess requirements, implement improvements, and ensure technology environments remain operationally ready.

  • Build strong relationships with local stakeholders, understanding their needs and taking ownership of technology initiatives.

  • Contribute to global Technical Operations projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support corporate security programmes, employee onboarding, and security awareness activities.

  • Partner with HR, Facilities, external providers, and other teams on building, technology, and security requirements.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, reports, and knowledge resources to support consistent service delivery.

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring:

  • A degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or at least five years of progressively responsible Technical Operations experience.

  • Working knowledge of enterprise computing environments, networking, endpoint management, and related technologies.

  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, endpoint management tools, networking technologies, VOIP telephony, and business applications.

  • Strong troubleshooting, organisational, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • The confidence to work independently, take ownership, and build effective relationships with stakeholders across different countries and cultures.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • The ability to lift and transport technology equipment weighing up to 22kg.

  • The ability and willingness to travel internationally throughout EMEA/APAC to support office operations, infrastructure improvements, and Technical Operations initiatives.

  • You will require a full UK drivers license and access to your own vehicle.
What will help you succeed

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re naturally customer-focused, technically curious, and comfortable navigating complexity. You’ll know how to optimise the way work gets done, collaborate effectively with others, and take accountability for delivering a high-quality service.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to take real ownership of regional technology environments while being part of a wider global Technical Operations function. You’ll work across a broad technology landscape, collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders internationally, and play an important role in keeping our offices connected, secure, and ready for business.
