About the Role:
As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will manage and support complex systems, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded throughout delivery and lifecycle. Your role involves working with a global banking client, from bringing new systems online to maintaining existing ones while identifying improvements. You will provide necessary project documentation for smooth handover and support team training.
How You Will Do It:
In this role, you will work with large enterprise CCURE and Victor VMS systems and regularly communicate with the Technical Services Manager, Service Administration, and UK Service Manager. Key responsibilities include:
• Proactively ensure optimal security system operation.
• Conduct detailed fault analysis and create post-incident reports.
• Apply firmware and software upgrades to security assets and collaborate on system upgrades.
• Register security assets and produce monthly validation reports.
• Support IT patching processes, assessing risks to minimize downtime.
• Complete asset lifecycle reviews and recommend upgrades.
• Oversee system programming and commissioning.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert and provide guidance on integration and improvement.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical training.
What We Look For:

Key Role Requirements:
• Onsite/Hybrid position in London overseeing security systems in the Bank’s UK and EMEA portfolio.
• Work within SLA for reactive and PPM tasks per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
We're looking for a proactive problem-solver with exceptional customer service and technical skills. You should have at least 3 years’ experience as a Senior Technical Engineer or Systems Engineer in a corporate environment, strong knowledge of CCure 9000, M&E building maintenance/electrical services, Video Surveillance Systems, CCTV, intruder systems, and networking/server technology.
Required:
• Minimum 3 years in a Technical Engineer or Systems Engineer role.
• Extensive knowledge of security systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, network, and security settings.
• Good understanding of IT and computer system architecture.
• Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills for technical information.
• Strong planning, organization, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• CCURE L2 or Victor VMS certification.
