Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Enablement Manager to join our Delivery team in London. This role is pivotal in establishing what great looks like on the technical side of our Partners integrations. The Technical Enablement Manager will establish best practices for our Tech Delivery team—comprising Presales and Solution Engineers— by providing the strategic direction, resources, frameworks, and tools necessary to execute complex integrations efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Vision and Leadership: Develop and own the strategic vision for Technical Delivery, setting the direction for improving efficiency and quality in our Partner integrations. Lead change initiatives to enhance our technical capabilities and drive innovation within the Presales and Solution Engineering teams.

  • Technical Delivery Management: Oversee Technical Delivery as a product, focusing on strategic improvements in knowledge management, data utilization, tooling, and automation to elevate the quality and efficiency of Partner integrations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the Presales team to develop best practices for gathering and assessing customer requirements and designing scalable payment solutions. Collaborate with the Solution Engineering team to create and improve frameworks that support technical integration projects, ensuring continuous process enhancement. Additionally, work closely with regional leads to ensure high-quality technical delivery.

  • Process Innovation: Identify and implement opportunities for process innovation, enhancing documentation, and strengthening knowledge management practices to support the team's strategic goals.

  • Technology Enablement: Lead the implementation and support of technology tools that streamline tech delivery processes, driving team efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Training and Development: Design and deliver advanced training programs to upskill the Tech Delivery team, fostering high performance and ensuring exceptional partners satisfaction.

  • Performance Management: Collaborate with the Analytics team to establish performance metrics and reporting systems for Tech Delivery, using data-driven insights for continuous improvement. Work with teams and leads to develop and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment and progress toward goals.

This role is for you if you are eager to establish the foundations of excellence in Tech Delivery space. You will have the opportunity to significantly impact the growth of the Wise Platform by developing frameworks that enhance the quality, efficiency, and success of complex technical project deliveries. Initially, this role will not have any direct team members, so we are looking for someone who is curious, hands-on, and ready to build from the ground up. If you are passionate about driving process improvements and empowering teams to deliver exceptional results, this is the perfect fit for you.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in a technical enablement, Presales, Solution Engineering role, preferably in fintech, banking, or technology sectors.

  • Proven experience with cross-functional teams to optimize technical project delivery and knowledge-sharing processes.

  • Hands-on experience in developing frameworks, creating technical documentation, and managing training programs.

  • Familiarity with performance management, reporting, and analytics to drive improvements in project execution.

  • Experience with API and/or SWIFT-based payment integrations and understanding of complex banking systems.

  • Proficiency to make API calls via Postman and troubleshoot via tools such as Kibana and Sumo

  • Proficiency in knowledge management tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira) and collaboration platforms.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
