Welcome to the video first world

From your everyday PowerPoint presentations to Hollywood movies, AI will transform the way we create and consume content. Today, people want to watch and listen, not read — both at home and at work.

Despite the clear preference for video, communication and knowledge sharing in the business environment are still dominated by text, largely because high-quality video production remains complex and challenging to scale—until now….

Meet Synthesia

We're on a mission to make video easy for everyone. Born in an AI lab, our AI video communications platform simplifies the entire video production process, making it easy for everyone, regardless of skill level, to create, collaborate, and share high-quality videos. Whether it's for delivering essential training to employees and customers or marketing products and services, Synthesia enables large organizations to communicate and share knowledge through video quickly and efficiently. We’re trusted by leading brands such as Heineken, Zoom, Xerox, McDonald’s and more. Read stories from happy customers and what 1,200+ people say on G2.

In 2023, we were one of 7 European companies to reach unicorn status. In February 2024, G2 named us as the fastest growing company in the world. We’ve raised over $150M in funding from top-tier investors, including Accel, Nvidia, Kleiner Perkins, Google and top founders and operators including Stripe, Datadog, Miro, Webflow, and Facebook.

About the role

At Synthesia, hiring the right people is essential to our success. We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Talent Acquisition team and help grow our engineering department. With plans to nearly double the engineering team next year, you’ll play a key role in attracting and hiring top talent.

In this role, you’ll manage the entire recruitment process for engineering positions, from sourcing to offer acceptance, while working closely with hiring managers. You’ll maintain a diverse candidate pipeline, ensure an outstanding experience for applicants, and uphold high hiring standards.

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll provide strategic support to hiring managers by owning recruitment logistics, leveraging data-driven insights, refining recruitment strategies, and elevating our employer brand. In doing so, you’ll help shape the future of Synthesia and ensure we continue to attract exceptional talent for our next phase of growth.

Our current hiring stack includes: Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Metaview, candidate.fyi, Synthesia, Certn, SeekOut

Requirements:

  • Proven track record hiring exceptional engineering talent in a scale-up environment, maintaining a very high hiring bar
  • Substantial in-house recruitment experience (not through an RPO)
  • Strong technical understanding of engineering technology in order to have meaningful conversations with both hiring managers and candidates
  • Demonstrated ability to create and refine recruitment processes
  • Creative sourcing skills for uncovering hard-to-find talent
  • Comfortable operating independently, taking ownership of end-to-end hiring needs
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially with senior engineering leaders
  • Critical thinker and problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth settings
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional, inclusive candidate experience
  • Proven ability to leverage data and metrics to continually refine recruitment strategies and drive informed hiring decisions
  • Experience hiring in EMEA. AMER&APAC are a plus
