Strategic Advisors Technology (SAT) is looking for an experienced Analyst to work on one of Fidelity’s key strategic programs. The role involves facilitating requirement sessions with business partners, articulating business requirements and working within the technology organization to deliver new features/functionality. As a senior systems analyst on the team, you work in partnership with the Strategic Advisors business stakeholders, Squad team members, Product Area Leader to understand the product vision and challenges. From there, you’ll work with your technology counterparts to deliver innovative, cost effective, architecturally aligned, and timely solutions. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and Agile leadership principles, you sustain and evolve our innovative agile culture.
The Expertise You Have- Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Mathematics or Finance related field; post-graduate degree/certification in finance or a related field a plus
- 5+ years experience as business/systems analyst or related role, with expertise in Agile delivery environments
- Financial services industry knowledge and experience vital, investment management and/or wealth management domain knowledge a plus
- Strong analysis skills, with a proven track record of delivery on complex technology projects
- You thrive in a global, team-based environment!
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical team members across the organization
- Willingness to dive in and understand code for analysis and support purposes
- Able to understand the technology and software architecture of an application
- Ability to take sophisticated features and break them into stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria
- Driving analysis, design, and support for investment management solutions that help investment managers achieve outstanding performance and end-customers achieve their financial goals
- Collaborating with the technology and business teams to deliver high quality solutions to achieve business goals and address challenges
- Bringing curiosity and a questioning mind-set to work, asking about the “why” and the “value” of new features/enhancements we build
- Helping the team grow by mentoring junior systems analysts when opportunities arise
