As a Senior System Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the multi-disciplinary systems that power our innovative solutions. Working closely with the development, operations, and security teams, you will ensure that our infrastructure is reliable, efficient, and scalable.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed specifications and architecture plans for new and existing systems.
- Deploy, configure, and integrate hardware and software components to ensure optimal system performance.
- Proactively monitor system performance and ensure uptime by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ensure that systems meet security standards and comply with industry regulations and best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation and provide training for team members on system updates and procedures.
- 5+ years in system engineering or related roles.
- At least 2 years of experience in a full time software development role
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with system architecture, installation, and maintenance of complex systems.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols and communications systems
- Familiarity with IoT, sensors, and energy related aspects.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)- a big advantage
- Familiarity with drone development - an advantage.
