A Day in the LifeIntegrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They partner with hospital management teams and payers to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and optimize operations.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager to join the IHS Supply Chain and Customer Care back-office team and manage the Order to Invoice (OTI) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, primarily for the UK market. You will oversee product master data and lead a cross-functional team across the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and India. This role is ideal for an operational finance or supply chain professional who seeks end-to-end process accountability and is looking for the opportunity to apply their leadership experience to a cross-functional team. This is a remote role based in the UK. You will be required to travel to client and Medtronic locations within the UK (10%), as well as occasionally within the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Oversee the OTI Process (UK Focus): Manage accurate and timely client billing, resolve invoicing issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercial, service delivery, and procurement
  • Client and Internal Governance: Maintain governance structures with clients and internal teams to address billing issues; define KPIs to monitor billing trends and forecasts
  • Billing Automation & Data Quality: Leverage technology to automate data checks and streamline billing cycles
  • Accounts Payable Oversight: Ensure timely resolution of AP issues in the UK, managing a support team in India and collaborating with procurement and vendors
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build proactive relationships with key suppliers to reduce overdue invoices and support new business processes
  • Master Data Ownership: Ensure accuracy and governance of master data related to products by working with clinical, procurement, and service teams
  • Finance Collaboration: Partner with internal finance teams on costing, revenue, and forecasting; manage stakeholder expectations and support tasks like account activations

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in customer care, billing, or finance operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within OTI, AP, or operational finance
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or science, with a strong financial background—audit experience preferred
  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel), with working knowledge of programming languages and data presentation tools like PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to lead projects and deliver results through influence, with strong verbal and written communication in English
  • Experience working in multinational environments with a focus on data quality and cross-functional collaboration
  • Broad knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Business Central, with an analytical, process-oriented mindset
  • Customer- and business-focused, with a preference for experience in the medical device industry
