The Team 

The role will be within the Supply Chain team at Graphcore.   This team operates within the Operations group and has members in Bristol and Taiwan.   The team is responsible for developing and leading a robust manufacturing subcontract supply chain for Graphcore. 

 

Responsibilities and Duties 

  1. Consolidate demand forecasts into executable supply and build plans, balancing flexibility, cost, and risk 
  1. Handle CM (Contract Manufacturer) production schedules and WIP transparency to ensure timely delivery 
  1. Drive build readiness, including supplier commit tracking, lead-time alignment, and production ramp control 
  1. Work with procurement team to ensure material availability to support production build on schedule 
  1. Work closely with Manufacturing /Test Engineering, Program Management, and Quality teams to support new product introductions (NPI) and ensure smooth transition to mass production 
  1. Leverage data analytics to drive decisions on inventory optimization, supply risk 
  1. Collaborate with global teams to lead end-to-end supply chain visibility 
  1. Develop target metrics and generate reports to supervise and evaluate supply chain performance and critical metrics 

Candidate Profile  
 

Essential: 

  • Over 8 years in supply chain management field, preferably within the high-tech industry 
  • Knowledge of supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management 

with a significant focus on OEM/ODM business. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. 
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is highly preferred due to the location and potential interaction with local suppliers and OEM partners 
  • Strong communication and reporting skills  
  • Engineering background is an advantage
