As Senior Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a pivotal leadership role within our Supply Chain function, leading the team responsible for supporting programmes from initial business capture through delivery and closeout. You'll help shape supply chain strategy, strengthen supplier partnerships, drive commercial value, and ensure our programmes have the support they need to succeed.

Working closely with business leaders, programme teams, business development, and suppliers, you'll influence critical decisions, remove delivery barriers, and help Northrop Grumman UK achieve operational excellence across a complex and dynamic portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain leader who enjoys developing high-performing teams, driving continuous improvement, and delivering meaningful business outcomes within the defence and technology sectors.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Chain Programmes team, driving capability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute supply chain management plans that support business winning activities and successful programme delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to remove obstacles, manage risk, and maximise value across programmes.
  • Build and strengthen strategic supplier relationships, negotiating agreements that support long-term business objectives.
  • Deliver measurable cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and KPI-driven outcomes.
  • Support organisational development, process improvement initiatives, and the delivery of the wider Supply Chain strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience in supply chain management within a complex organisation.
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings, commercial benefits, and operational improvements.
  • Experience leading, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Ability to identify innovative solutions and drive meaningful business change.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against targets.

Desirable:

  • Experience within defence, aerospace, engineering, technology, or a highly regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, and supply chain risk management.
