Job Description

Issuing Solutions is a high-growth, multi-billion-dollar business unit within Visa’s Value-Added Services (VAS) organisation. Our group is responsible for building & commercialising products that improve issuing bank processing and cardholder experiences.

Loyalty is a newly established and fast-growing vertical within Issuing Solutions, designed to help Visa clients improve cardholder engagement, increase lifetime value and drive ecosystem stickiness. As a Senior Strategy & Go -To - Market (GTM) Manager within the Consumer Engagement team, you will be responsible for helping deliver commercial success across our growing portfolio of B2B loyalty solutions in Europe – ensuring we meet and exceed our customer needs with a sophisticated and evolving technology stack. The role will be multi-faceted in scope, requiring an individual who can bring strategic clout, exceptional commercial aptitude, and a can-do mindset to help scale a complex and dynamic business vertical.

This is an individual contributor role that reports into the Director of Consumer Engagement, Europe. Responsibilities will include:

Strategy & innovation (50%):

  • Own discovery efforts into emerging technology and trends, e.g., financial media networks, point transfer networks, agentic loyalty. Become the SME for these respective areas, leading efforts on TAM sizing, business case formulation, build/buy/partner strategies and development of commercial constructs to support investment requests.
  • Drive planned programme consolidation efforts across Europe, ensuring we maximise operational efficiencies by focusing on products/solutions that will deliver economies of scale
  • Identify, size and prioritise new growth levers across our product portfolio, including market expansion efforts, new issuer/client segments, adjacent use cases
  • Work with the Global Loyalty product owners to influence Visa’s long-term loyalty strategy, with an eye towards innovation and product improvements that address the needs of the European market.
  • Help facilitate client sessions to gather insights, validate demand and translate client needs into product requirements

GTM (40%):

  • Own commercialisation workstreams for the Visa Offers Network, the foundations of our loyalty stack. Help shape our merchant content acquisition strategy, distribution framework and B2B sales model in conjunction with local sales & global product teams
  • Build the commercial and operational drumbeat within the business to ensure we meet and exceed revenue targets, ensuring our sellers are equipped with the necessary knowledge and collateral to support client conversations.
  • Provide support for key strategic deals, acting as subject matter expert and engaging with customers to understand their pain points
  • Build the Visa Consumer Engagement VAS narrative for Europe, bundling capabilities and products into a compelling loyalty storyline that resonates with our client needs.

Operations (10%):

  • Work with finance and data teams to measure/monitor overall portfolio performance, with the purpose of identifying and unlocking new growth levers for the business

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ experience in commercial strategy, product commercialisation and/or GTM roles within the financial services industry (essential)
  • Exposure to loyalty and/or cardholder engagement propositions at an Issuer, Fintech or SaaS technology provider (highly desirable)
  • Proven track record of taking products to market, with the ability to lead and execute a range of product development initiatives from concept, pilot to launch
  • Deep understanding of the interplay between product strategy, commercialisation and GTM. The candidate should be equally comfortable spending their day on value prop development, client pitches, refinement of commercial frameworks, and sales strategy.
  • Expert in scaling and distributing products/services within a matrixed and globally distributed B2B technology company
  • High bias for action and a relentless ownership mindset.
  • Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and change. The candidate can progress projects independently and adapt to evolving external/internal forces to maximise success.
  • Ability to balance both strategic thinking and tactical execution.
  • Ability to communicate complex, technical concepts in a focused and well-organised manner for both internal and external audiences (e.g., bundling multiple capabilities into a coherent, singular narrative)
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate a matrix organisation
