What we are looking for:

The Senior Strategist is a go-to strategy delivery lead for clients and colleagues. This includes being a trusted pair of hands that owns and oversees the end-to-end strategy delivery for key clients, ensuring quality and reliable strategic thinking. As well as using this detailed knowledge to go above and beyond in the moments that matter.

Senior Strategists are expert do-ers, who have built a broad experience in B2B marketing. They can handle all kinds of clients and types of work confidently, they know when to ask for support, and they help other strategists improve their craft too.

What you will do:

  • Acting as a trusted strategy delivery lead to clients in your portfolio (80%)
    • Running end-to-end strategy projects, with the ability to consistently deliver high quality strategic thinking and outputs
    • Developing a deep understanding of your clients, their needs, their proposition, and their industry, so that you are seen as the go-to expert
    • Working closely and collaborating effectively with other teams (e.g., data, media, CLS, creative and sales activation) in the business to deliver great work for our clients
    • Building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders within our clients’ businesses, such as senior marketing leads, sales leads and subject matter experts
    • Utilising AI to augment your work and drawing on the support of senior team members and specialists when needed
    • Working on a variety of clients and projects with a constant curiosity to proactively learn more about B2B strategy
  • Driving growth and commercial impact for TMP (10%)
    • Inputting early into projects, working on the project scope, and supporting with estimating
    • Proactively identifying and acting upon growth opportunities within the existing work of your key clients
    • Supporting with new business conversations and driving the strategic thinking on RFPs, bringing other resources in to support where needed
  • Giving back to TMP (10%)
    • Supporting the development of junior team members through mentoring
    • Acting as an authority to ‘bounce-off’ for junior members of the team, offering suggestions and potential approaches and solutions to challenges by drawing upon experience and providing feedback
    • Owning a project or initiative that gives value back to the strategy team or wider TMP. E.g., owning a strategy team initiative, becoming a line manager, or supporting a TMP initiative (e.g., ESG, client delight, socials)

What you will need:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, either within an agency or client-side environment
  • Evidence of working with cross-discipline teams (strategy, creative, technology, media, and client services)
  • Evidence of owning the end-to-end strategy on client projects
  • Experience in ABM, Channel Marketing, Demand Generation and Brand – including deep experience in at least two of these areas
  • Strong understanding of complex B2B businesses and their buying process, ideally within technology, cybersecurity and SaaS industries
