Responsibilities
- Guided by your strategy director or exec strategy director partner, a senior strategist should lead the creation of strategy deliverables and decks - including brand purpose, positioning, value proposition, brand roadmaps
- Conduct synthesis and analysis of robust research and data sets in service of developing powerful insights on which to build successful businesses and brands
- Work collaboratively with other strategists and cross functional partners across design, program management, business development and moreEngage in strategic conversations with clients to uncover internal and external dynamics the brand strategy needs to address
- Attend and present strategic thinking to client leadership teams including Founders, CEOs, CMOs and Product Leaders
- Develop implications and recommendations based on human-centric, data-driven insights and audit of various materials and resources, as well as primary qualitative and quantitative research
- Drive fresh thinking and support innovative approaches to solving complex problems with internal and client teams
- Design and deliver content for collaborative client workshops, and lead sections of workshops where relevant.
Requirements
- At least 6-8 years experience as a marketer in a consumer brand or tech company, and / or as a strategist in a top-tier agencies or consultancies
- Strategic approach to solving problems and identifying creative solutions
- Ability to see the “big picture” and prioritize appropriately by focusing on work that will deliver the highest impact to the client
- Strong writer capable of crafting strategic narratives and creative manifestos, rich customer profiles and brand stories
- Experience developing strategic frameworks
- An understanding of the challenges that modern marketers face and a passion for helping them solve them
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Comfortable moderating workshops with clients (both online and IRL)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and to thrive in collaborative team
