To develop a robust sales pipeline and secure new business opportunities that align with the American Express GBT growth strategy, focusing on enterprise clients within business travel.

What You'll Do

• Identify and establish relationships with new enterprise clients through ethical sales methods and compelling propositions.
• Influence decision-making processes to support the new business program.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the sales strategy, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate confidence and assurance in managing key projects and high-stakes negotiations.
• Take responsibility for organization and planning, both internally and externally.
• Communicate effectively with senior management, including boardroom presentations.
• Present data and insights analytically and persuasively to various stakeholders.
• Embody the Amex GBT values of honesty and trust.
• Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activities, providing relevant insights.
• Plan and prioritize sales activities and client interactions to achieve business objectives, managing personal time and productivity effectively.

What We're Looking For

• Current or previous experience in business travel industry – travel management company TMC, airline, hotel in B2B environment.
• Is working or has worked for one of the top-10 TMC’s.
• Preferably experience in sales or account management role within business travel in the last 5-years.
• Proven track record in managing, or leading enterprise -level client travel program profiles in the professional services sector.
• Manage an allocated prospect pipeline.
• Create new prospect opportunities.
• Support the engagement strategy to ensure prospects are sold to pre-RFP’s.
• Work with commercial colleagues to develop sales propositions that align to the market conditions.
• Create a working plan to support the ley aspects of the selling journey.
