We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our team and drive growth in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) & APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions. As a Cloudinary Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and retaining existing client relationships, identifying and closing new growth opportunities, and ensuring customer success. This role requires a proactive approach to client engagement, a deep understanding of cloud-based solutions, and a passion for helping customers achieve their goals as well as a sales mentality
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
- Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to effectively position Cloudinary's solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product, to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.
- Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue from existing accounts.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on best practices for media management and optimization.
- Monitor client usage and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to better serve clients.
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- 5+ Experience maintaining existing client contract renewals, cross selling and upselling within these existing accounts
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales as required
- Proven experience in account management or sales roles within the SaaS industry.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to both technical, non-technical audiences and C-Suite.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management in Salesforce with highly proficient forecasting
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in other languages spoken in the EMEA or APAC region is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field is a plus, or equal work experience
- Working rights for the UK and willingness to come in minimum 2+ days per week to the office
