The Impact of a Customer Growth Account Executive to Coupa:


As a Strategic Account Director at Coupa, you will directly and significantly impact our organisation by driving account expansion within our existing customer base. Your role is crucial in maintaining executive sponsorship, understanding the unique business needs of our customers, and developing comprehensive account plans and strategies.


Your contributions will be pivotal in our continued success and market leadership. Through your expertise in account management and deep understanding of our customers' evolving requirements, you will ensure that Coupa remains a trusted partner and delivers exceptional value to our clients. By effectively expanding our customer accounts, you will contribute to our overall growth trajectory and help solidify our position as a leader in the industry. What You'll Do

  • Responsible for managing growth of Coupa's wallet share in existing enterprise accounts in the DACH region with revenue over 1 billion USD
  • Execute own account development strategy to position Coupa as market leader in Business Spend Management
  • Build out account penetration model for multi-angle access into key accounts
  • Align value messaging targeted towards chief economic buyer in target accounts
  • Drive and develop up- and cross selling revenue with enterprise accounts in a competitive environment and work with supporting functions and partners to generate revenue and strengthen brand of Coupa in the region

What You Will Bring to Coupa

  • Strong SaaS sales background with proven track record of developing existing accounts with complex deals in the enterprise segment
  • Domain knowledge in Spend Management would be beneficial
  • Ability to identify enterprise client pains and develop unique and compelling value propositions focusing on delivering business value
  • Excellent communication skills in Germany and English, with problem-solving mindset and detail orientation towards customers
  • Experience in proactively penetrating existing accounts, driving complex multi-stakeholder engagements, and exhibiting entrepreneurial mindset with value positioning and challenger sales
