Role purpose

Accelya is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Senior Specialist - Sales Operations based in the UK.

This role is critical in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the GTM organization. This individual will leverage their consultancy experience, analytical prowess, and exceptional communication skills to optimize sales processes, deliver strategic insights, and support the achievement of sales targets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sales Process Optimization: Evaluate and enhance existing GTM processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Implement best practices and scalable processes that can support growth.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform detailed data analysis to provide actionable insights into sales performance, pipeline health, and market trends. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for senior management.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company's goals. Participate in forecasting, territory planning, and target setting.

  • Consultancy and Advisory: Utilize your consultancy experience to provide strategic advice and support to the sales team. Identify opportunities for improvement and drive the implementation of solutions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, pre-sales, customer success, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment and support for GTM initiatives. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.

  • CRM Management: Leverage extensive experience with CRM systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, to manage and optimize CRM processes.

  • Project Management: Demonstrate strong project management skills to lead and execute complex initiatives that drive sales operations efficiency.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, sales strategy, or a related field. Proven experience with top consultancy firms is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, with experience managing and optimizing CRM processes.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior management and other stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of influencing and driving change across an organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
