Mission Statement & Summary 

At NewDay our people make the difference and we’re looking for a Senior Specialist, Embedded Finance Product Strategy to help shape the future of retail finance with partners.

You’ll sit at the crossroads of product strategy, customer experience and partner delivery, influencing how millions of customers use instalment plans, BNPL and embedded credit while delivering real value for customers, retailers and NewDay.

How you’ll contribute 

  • Define and deliver embedded finance product strategies with Partner Management and external partners to grow customer and retailer networks, aligned to a primary retail partner.

  • Own strategy execution across your first 12 months delivering roadmap initiatives whilst building value cases for what’s next

  • Design end to end customer journeys and define requirements that maximise engagement and commercial impact

  • Lead delivery of Embedded Finance Feature Roadmap initiatives, partnering closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to prioritise features based on customer insight, market dynamics and commercial value

  • Manage product performance against customer and regulatory metrics, serving as the Product representative for dependent changes across NewDay

We're looking for these essential skills 

  • Strong experience in instalment plans, POS finance or BNPL

  • Proven ability to work with Design, Digital Product, compliance and Retail/Client teams to deliver high-impact customer journeys

  • Experience running experiments, pilots and tests, scaling what works

  • Comfortable working with external partners with differing priorities and financial maturity

  • Confident using data and insight to shape strategy and communicate vision
