Senior Specialist, Product Management

Overview
The Consumer Engagement team, within Europe Product and Innovation, focuses on differentiation, enhancement, and innovation of Mastercard Consumer products which includes responsibility for Core Issuing Products, Digital Enablement, ESG and Fintech Partnerships. Under ESG, we drive the European Sustainability narrative leading with Priceless Planet Coalition, Carbon Calculator and Donation Platform scaling. Under the 'S' of ESG, the team is responsible for Financial Inclusion and Financial Health to address the needs of financially underserved.
The candidate will have responsibility to support a key strategic initiative – Sustainability in Europe. Sustainability is now part of Mastercard’s DNA and top of our agenda at all levels. Primary focus will be leading the scaling of Carbon Calculator and Mastercard Donate solutions to make an impact and help saving our planet is non-negotiable. This role will be directly working with the European product owners of the initiative to drive our common objective.
This is an excellent opportunity for a purpose driven individual wanting to have an impact to enhance, develop and scale Mastercard Sustainability solutions (most notably Priceless Planet, Carbon Calculator and Mastercard Donate).
Role:
•Driving forward our strategic agenda and objectives in Sustainability
•Develop a thorough understanding of our existing Sustainability product suite to support market and partner discussions
•Working with divisions and markets to ensure a robust tracking of the opportunity pipeline for Priceless Planet, Carbon Calculator and Mastercard Donate
- Influencing Global, Divisions and Cross-Functional teams for product development, prioritization and best practice sharing
•Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to understand its implications for Mastercard
•Forward thinking mindset to suggest ways in providing relevant benefits and features in the Sustainability space
•Support organization of internal and external events such as Sustainability Conference and Forums
•Maintain sales materials to support account teams in Sustainability solution adoption for our partners including a library of best practices and propositions
•Research industry best practices to support internal and external knowledge documents
•Provide insights that may influence our European ESG product strategy, and contributes to the development of materials for training, RFPs, strategy reviews and other
About You:
• Strong business acumen
• A passion for Sustainability and Environmental causes
• An innovative spirit to think outside the box to develop product solutions
- Collaborative mindset with strong influencing skills to ensure the needs of the region are prioritized
• Experience in analyzing data with advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular PPT and Excel
• Ability to translate ideas and information into stories to different audiences, both internal and external
• Engagement and understanding of Mastercard partners (banks, BaaS, fintechs, etc)
• Ambitious, driven, hungry, can-do attitude, self-starter, high achiever
• Positive energy and passion, team player
• English: Business proficient
• Bachelors or Masters degree
