Role Overview
The Corporate Affairs & Marketing (CAM) organisation acts as a strategic partner to the LSEG business, powering commercial value through an insight led approach that maximises the impact of our investment and our relevance in the market.
This role in the Business Marketing team supports the Workflows business, which offers unrivalled data coverage and workflow-centric solutions dedicated to the investment banking and trading communities. The role leads the creation and execution of global, customer-centric marketing strategies and content that drive the business objectives and build customer satisfaction and loyalty specifically in the Workflows business.
Key responsibilities
Support the Workflows marketing team with planning, implementing and monitoring of marketing campaigns
Work with marketing and business partners to shape innovative activation plans and ensure the coordination of the activities
Organise and coordinate marketing events, such as conferences, proprietary thought leadership events, networking events and webinars
Execute end-to-end email marketing & customer retention campaigns
Monitor and analyse marketing budgets, including processing of invoices and monitoring of annual spending
Ensures deliverables demonstrate value and a return on investment, meet customers strategic requirements and LSEG’s quality standards, including brand guidelines
Partner with colleagues across Corporate Affairs & Marketing to ensure our marketing is aligned to wider business objectives
Engage and collaborate with the business, agencies and strategic marketing partners to ensure plans and content is reflective of our customer challenges and our product proof points
Ensure all Workflows content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimised for search and user experience for all channels
Make use of analytics as a basis for decision making, track performance against benchmarks and report return on investment
Skills and experience:
Proven experience in B2B marketing to the financial markets’ community
Desire and passion, coupled with a genuine interest, to understand data and technology-driven financial solutions
Strong ability to learn, listen and collaborate
Good relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Extensive experience supporting the development of content materials (from sales enablement to thought leadership), with a detailed knowledge of the end-to-end process
Hands-on experience using Marketing Automation platforms with a preference for Eloqua
Experience using Salesforce and Tableau desired
Demonstrate superior attention to detail, accuracy, and initiative
Strong presentation skills
Strong collaboration skills and ability to negotiate through a diverse and global matrix structure
Customer-centric approach and focus
Excellent project management skills and a proactive approach
Demonstrate excellent time-management and multi-tasking abilities and be able to independently meet deadlines
