Our Professional Services Teams work closely with Coupa Customers, Partners and internal Product Management to implement the most valuable solutions for our customers.
As an expert in Sourcing Optimisation, your main goal will be in training and enabling customers in designing, running, and evaluating complex sourcing events using Coupa Sourcing Optimisation.
What You'll Do:
- Work with some of the largest companies in the world to assist them in designing Sourcing events for some of their largest and most complex spend categories such as logistics, raw materials and packaging.
- Work towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Coupa Sourcing Optimization and engage with customers to assist them with event design for complex Sourcing events and in running post award scenarios
- Lead the CSO deployment projects with customers and supporting external implementation partners as a subject matter expert
- Lead and support customer design workshops to guide customers through the implementation journey
- Support design reviews and collaborating with Product Management on the strategic direction of the product
- Manage customers where up to 50% of your time may include travel
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Previous experience in strategic sourcing, either internally via a procurement or supply chain organization or externally with a consulting firm or software provider OR in depth knowledge of optimization in combination with a business discipline gained in an academic environment.
- Experience in leading consulting engagements or projects via an external consulting firm / software provider, or with internal customers/stakeholders within an organization
- Excellent interpersonal and client management skills are required along with the passion to work with customers to execute an implementation plan that works towards a rapid, successful go-live
- Ability to use Excel and/or other platforms for complex scenario analysis
- Experience of configuring and delivering software demonstrations
- Experience in Sourcing, Category Management, and in running complex Sourcing events, in particular Logistics, Raw Materials, Packaging or other complex spend categories
- Experience in applying advanced eSourcing tools to conduct complex tenders making use of advanced analytical techniques such as scenario analysis and optimization
