The Senior Sourcing Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring the day to day activities from raw material purchase order placement to finished goods delivery to warehouse across are in line with our critical path. Working cross functionally with pre production, product, quality, logistics and buying and merchandising teams to achieve on time end product delivery.

This position is a maternity‑cover role and requires attending the office three days per week.

Duties & Responsibilities:
 
·       Assist with the running of Leather Accessories, Lifestyle Extension & Soft Accessories production categories and introduce standard practice to new suppliers.
·       Raise POs & GRNs using our ERP system (Prima) supported by the Sourcing Assistant.
·       Ensuring Raw Materials orders are placed according to the critical path and liaise with the wider team to resolve any issues which may jeopardise delivery.
·       Work closely with the Planning Assistants to ensure priority styles required by the business are effectively communicated to the relevant finished goods suppliers and followed through to end delivery.
·       Responsible for requesting raw material requirements from factories & co-ordinating shipping stock out where available, in accordance with the critical path.
·       Create and update reports on delivery status, supplier OTIF, freight cost and lead time analysis and other KPI reports as required.
·       Working alongside Inventory planning inventory manager to create and agree the seasonal lifestyle category buying schedules.
·       Communicate bespoke orders to ensure all stake holders are informed and updated.
·       Issue regular delivery updates to the business with regards to delivery performance.
·       Ad hoc work as directed by other members of the Sourcing team especially in busy periods, e.g. stock take, project work.

 Skills & Knowledge:
 
·       Previous experience working in a purchasing environment.
·       Organised with the ability to work at a fast pace.
·       Proven ability to produce accurate work with attention to detail. 
·       Previous experience in understanding and analysing large amounts of data.
·       Has a proactive attitude, energy, commitment and focus to ensure the delivery of priorities.
·       Computer literate - competent with Microsoft packages with extensive knowledge of Excel and working with reporting tools.  
·       Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of stakeholders including senior business leaders.
