The Role

We’re looking for a strategic, commercially minded Senior Solutions Engineer to lead complex technical conversations and drive value throughout the sales and client lifecycle at Codat. Sitting at the intersection of technology and business, you’ll partner closely with sales, account management, implementation, product, and engineering to craft scalable, innovative solutions that solve real-world problems.

Codat is best known for data connectivity — helping financial institutions and fintechs access the SMB data they need to serve their customers better. But we’re now building the next chapter of our platform with Insights products that require a completely separate go-to market motion and user persona focus. It’s not just about enabling teams to build on top of our APIs. It’s about delivering packaged, outcomes-led products that help customers make better decisions, move faster, and create value from day one.

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you’ll play a key role in making this real. You’ll work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams to:

• shape how our Insights products are understood, positioned, and sold

• build demos and narratives that clearly communicate value

• translate customer needs into product feedback and direction

• help establish repeatable sales playbooks and scalable delivery patterns

• support early customers and help turn learnings into momentum

Responsibilities

Lead Technical Discovery & Solution Design

• Guide technical discovery sessions with senior stakeholders to understand their business models, data architectures, and growth objectives

• Build and maintain deep expertise in Codat’s platform, APIs, SDKs, and data integration use cases.

• Architect tailored, scalable solutions aligned to client needs—ensuring a smooth transition from discovery to deployment.

Drive Discovery, Usage Growth & Retention

• Own the technical aspects of strategic account management—ensuring our most valuable clients are realizing full product value.

• Lead expansion discovery within existing accounts, surfacing new use cases, workflows, and growth levers.

• Proactively identify opportunities to deepen product adoption and build influence across stakeholder groups.

Contribute to Implementation & Onboarding

• Partner with the Implementation team to ensure successful onboarding, helping design solution blueprints and advising on configuration.

• Support early usage milestones and advise on go-live best practices for enterprise-scale deployments.

• Act as a steady technical presence throughout the customer lifecycle—ensuring business continuity, scalability, and successful ramp-up.

Influence Product & Innovation

• Capture nuanced customer feedback and market signals to influence product roadmap priorities.

• Partner with product teams to test and validate new features, packaging concepts, or market entries.

• Represent Codat’s technical vision in solution evangelism and strategic internal planning.

What makes a great Senior Solutions Engineer at Codat

• Experienced n technical sales, solutions engineering, or consulting roles within high-growth B2B SaaS, ideally in fintech, payments, or data integration.

• Proven track record supporting complex, multi-threaded deals with multi-year/multi-use case scope.

• Strong solution architecture capabilities with hands-on experience designing or deploying APIs, SDKs, or embedded data services.

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to influence both technical and commercial stakeholders.

• Experience advising product account management, and sales teams, and driving go-to-market or solution design strategy.

• Passion for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong sense of ownership.
