Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Developer (Senior Software Engineer) to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in cloud development, along with the ability to reverse engineer (and improve) existing systems.

Requirements

Must have:

  • 5+ years of experience, including at least 2yr in cloud development

  • Relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

  • Experience with NoSql columnar or document datastores

  • Experience with Node.js

  • Experience with ReactJS and/or similar frameworks

  • Experience with AWS as cloud infrastructure

  • Ability to analyze and understand existing (legacy) code for troubleshooting purposes

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with languages: Java, C++, Python

  • Experience with Presto, Scylladb, MongoDB

  • Experience with infrastructure as code, in the cloud (GCP/AWS)

  • Experience with GitHub actions

  • Experience with the Agile process (Kanban)

Language:

  • English - Advanced English. Direct communication with an international team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participation in architectural design

  • Participate proactively in cross teams’ channels

  • Application development (both new and existing application)

  • Code reviews

  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including technical design, implementation and testing

  • Participate in troubleshooting of existing systems
