Location

At Cryptio, we’re a remote-first team, with most working 100% remotely, while others enjoy a mix of office time in our hubs in London or Paris. This role requires candidates to be based in the UK or France, and we support the setup that works best for your lifestyle and productivity—whether that’s fully remote, in the office, or a blend of both!

The Team

You'll be part of Cryptio’s Core SaaS Squad, a high-impact team shaping the future of back-office and reporting for businesses with intensive crypto use cases. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining core product features, ensuring high performance, and tackling architectural challenges. You'll work alongside talented engineers to build and refine finance and accounting solutions, balancing new feature development with technical debt management.

• Typescript (Nest.js, Zod, Slonik)

• Databases: Clickhouse, RocksDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL

• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, AWS, Pulumi, Docker, GitLab

What's special about this role?

This role represents a unique opportunity to solve complex accounting and financial challenges in the cryptocurrency space. You'll contribute to the development of critical features that help our clients navigate the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets, from implementing sophisticated cost basis computations to building automated reconciliation systems that can handle millions of transactions.

What you'll be doing

• Write production-grade TypeScript code

• Implement new features and maintain existing ones

• Document and test your code

• Work closely with product teams to ensure new features meet user needs

We're looking for someone who has

• 5+ years of software development experience

• Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills

• Proficiency with PostgreSQL (or another relational database)

• Fluent spoken and written English

• Excellent communication with technical & non-technical stakeholders

• A collaborative and team-oriented mindset

Bonus

• Some experience with the key TypeScript dependencies we are using: Nest.js, Slonik, Zod

• Some experience with key tools we are using: Docker, Gitlab, Grafana stack

• Infrastructure: AWS, S3, Kubernetes
