  Established in 2007, FIL Technology (Dalian) Limited was the Fidelity’s first wholly owned enterprise in China. The Dalian office initially served as a systems development centre to bolster Fidelity’s growing business in the Asia Pacific region, with a primary focus on providing technology and web-based support and services. The office has continued to expand in recent years and now acts as the central service hub for the Asia Pacific region supporting multiple business functions including systems development and support, systems infrastructure support, retail operations, finance accounting services and investment administration & fund accounting.

   

• Team Description

   

  Our team provides comprehensive technical support and solutions for the Hong Kong Customer Service Department, covering all Hong Kong business operations. We focus on delivering stable, efficient, and customer‑centric services to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer experience across the entire Hong Kong market.

   

  
  

• About your role
  As a sinior software engineer I, you will work hand in hand with counterparts in HK and Dalian to support globally shared workflows, interacting with local business and technology teams to ensure these reflect any specific regional business or technology needs.

  
  

   

   

• About you

  The position is for an experienced software engineer. The candidate should be able to implement complex business logic using different software solutions.

  
  

  This is a hands-on role and you will be expected to provide technical oversight and guidance to the process and solution regarding how we consume/structure/provide/represent data.

  
  

• Key Responsibilities

  Design and implement high performance systems supporting large volume real time and batched data processes Propose and design software solutions for scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and elasticity for various application needs Ensure implementation Data Governance and security best practices for software environments

  
  

• Experience and Qualifications Required

  Essential Skills and Experience

   

  Fluent English AWS background with at least 2 years IAC experience Proficient in Java and SQL programming languages Good sense of corporate level security

  
  

• Desirable Skills and Experience

   

  Quick learner Rich experience of Java/Microservice development, AI Coding is a plus. Rich experience of AWS DevSecOps, especially ECS, CodePipeline, Redis, CloudWatch, and Lambda. Good sense of code version control, incident and problem resolving. Business level of English.
